Helping overseas students that came to Singapore

Chen Xuan Yi and Wu Jiayi are just two students who came to Singapore from other countries that Skylace has helped.

1) Chen Xuan Yi

Xuan Yi came from Myanmar and Chinese was totally new to her. She joined Skylace at the age of 4, and was with the school till she was 8 years old. From pre-school learning to 'Hanyu Pinyin', and then to structured learning of words, Skylace had provided her with a good foundation in Chinese. Now, she is a Primary 5 student at Nanyang Primary School, one of the top 3 primary schools in Singapore. Her mother complimented Skylace: " Her achievements are all thanks to the help from Skylace ."

2) Wu Jiayi

Jiayi joined Skylace Language School at the age of 12 when her family migrated from Hong Kong to Singapore. Her background has caused her some difficulties in learning Chinese.

Jiayi, however, was a very diligent and hardworking student - she spent twice the effort to overcome her weaknesses. The end-result? She was rewarded with flying colours in her PSLE results.

To show her appreciation to her teachers, she had sent us a New Year Card thanking all the teachers in Skylace Language School.
